I have been involved in choral groups since the age of six, and in the Anglican musical community in New Zealand from the age of nine; first as a boy treble at Christchurch Cathedral, then Organ Scholar at the Cathedrals in Nelson and in Wellington, before being appointed Assistant Director of Music at Wellington Cathedral of St Paul. I hold a degree in organ performance from the School of Music at Victoria University of Wellington as well as diplomas in vocal technique and performance. As an experienced accompanist, vocal soloist, singing coach and choral conductor, I am one of New Zealand’s most experienced choral musicians.

Musical Objective

Since August 2006 I have been resident in England with the goal of furthering both my choral skills and my understanding
of early music by singing with both secular concert ensembles and liturgical vocal groups.

London Performing Experience

I have successfully auditioned for and/or sung with a variety of sacred and secular choral groups including Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Cathedral, St George's Chapel Windsor, Polyphony, The Oxford Camerata, Ex Cathedra, and Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, where I am currently resident as a tenor lay vicar.
